In the month of October every year, the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) brings the investment community and technical analysts globally together to share experiences, skills and to learn new trends emerging in the Investment Banking Industry. In mid-October, 2017; the 30th IFTA Annual Conference in Milan was held, which presented renowned academicians in the investment industry and practitioners to a round table. Currently the 31st IFTA Annual Conference of 2018 would be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from October, 26 to 28, 2018, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in the capital city of Malaysia. This conference promises to be one of the best, as an advanced edition to the 2017 event in Milan, Italy. 2. THE PURPOSE OF THE MALAYSIA PROGRAMME
The purpose is to exchange ideas, share experiences and skills with the gurus within the Global Investment industry and to learn the current innovations in investment and fund management strategies from the leading investment companies on the international platform. This ambition will be heightened when one participates in the October, 2018, IFTA Malaysia programme. It is an undeniable fact that, there are investment strategists who are ready to partner with companies in developing countries. Considering the complexities and new trends of investment strategies being used by renowned investment bankers all over the world in recent times, it is highly imperative that, a growing investment banker, needs to sharpen his/her abilities, skills and knowledge to be more dynamic in other to live up to resilient investment expectations in the years ahead. The institute is hopeful that, the discharge of our investment responsibilities, will be fine-tuned the more, following the participation in the Malaysia 2018 programme in October. This event will not only be of benefit to our organizations alone but to a large extent, our country Ghana and Africa.
3. THE OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAMNE
- To build a stronger relationship among investment bankers and fund managers.
- To provide advance opportunity for domestic investment bankers to develop themselves.
- To meet and fraternize with experienced investment bankers around the globe and to equip themselves with the current trend of skills in the Industry
4. MATERIAL EVIDENCE OF THE PROGRAMME
The package has been categorized into three (3) sections. These are:
A. Students Package; this requires students to have valid Student ID-Card, with subsidize fees as follows, (i) Student documentation, medical insurance and Visa acquiring – $500 (ii)
Accommodation and feeding for 4-days- $2000 (iii) Flight ticket fee is not compulsory. Individual students or the college could purchase their own tickets according to the cost convenient or join the Institute ticket booked in advance for October 2018 as a round trip fare at $3,500.
B. Corporate Agency; (i) Two staff of the agency, will be documented for the trip, under Visa acquiring processes, medical insurances and necessary travelling documentations at a cost of $3000. (ii) Accommodation and feeding fee for 4 days – $7000 (iii) Flight ticket is optional as deemed fit by the company
C. Sponsoring Agency; under the sponsoring agency, it is subdivided into three categories as follows;
(i) Diamond Sponsorship: the agency pays a sponsorship fee of $15,000 to the Institute to support the expenditure works of the events arrangements with the following benefit package
- Agency products presented, to be pitched at the Conference for investment attraction and accessibility
- The 4-day lecture Conference Video file will be made available to the sponsored agency
- Agency products and souvenirs will be promoted at the Events
(ii) Golden Sponsorship: The agency, who pays a sponsorship fee package of $9000 will have
- The 4-day lecture Conference Video file, will be made available to the sponsored agency
- Agency products and souvenirs will be promoted at the Event
(iii) Silver Sponsorship: The Agency, who pays a sponsorship fee of $6000
- The 4-days lecture Conference Video file will be made available to the sponsored agency
